Ruben A. Aquino is a Disney animator. During pruduction of The Lion King (1994), Ruben and the animation crew all went to Africa to study the movements of a lion for his character of Adult Simba. After he's finished production on Mulan in 1998, he won an Annie Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement for Character Animation for the characters Shang and Fa Li.
