XL is a villain on Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. He was built by Star Command to be a robot ranger, but when he was activated he went berzerk and began attacking everything in sight. He was deactivated, and the entire project was slid under the rug. That is, until Zurg found and reactivated XL. After his reactivation, XL wasted no time in ditching his Star Command issued body, rebuilding himself as an enormous war machine, with mis-matched parts making him like a robotic version of Frankenstein's monster.
